Leadership Midwest City
Class of 2014
Director of Advancement,
Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame
The Leadership Midwest City program through the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce has made a huge impact on my life. I have made lifelong friends, learned more about my community then I ever knew, and appreciate the needs and how it feels to give back to the community. The Alumni Association asked my class to step up and revive the Association. Please join me and the Class of 2014. We want to connect with every class and continue giving back to our community.

In the first four months of our monthly socials we have collected food and grocery bags for the Mid-Del Food Pantry, supplies for the Midwest City Animal Shelter, winter items for children at Crutcho Elementary and Highland Park Elementary, collected toys for the Elks Lodge Christmas Basket Program, raised funds to sustain a scholarship at Rose State College, collected donations for the Midwest City YMCA, provided Dodgers tickets to the Mid-Del Group Home, collected donations for the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, collected money for the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children, Brides with Cancer and collected used cell phones for a program for Veterans! . We have been featured in the Midwest City Beacon numerous times and received the Service to Youth Award from the YMCA. We also received a $1,000 grant from the Wal-mart Foundation! While giving back to the community we are also able to connect with new and past friends, network with local business men and woman and just have a good time. Please join us! Membership is only $35 for the entire year!
